"I am a quantitative human geographer working with earth observation data to understand urban environmental changes. During my PhD, I research how urban densification in Denmark relates to people's mental health during the rural-urban migration process. In my current project working with Prof. Karen Seto at Yale, I am using Landsat satellite time-series and machine learning/deep learning approaches to investigate urban transformation in the Himalayas and the interlinked vulnerability at the emerging settlements in mountainous areas. "
