Tzu-Chieh Chou is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Electrical Engineering, California Institute of Technology (Caltech) under the supervision of Prof. Yu-Chong Tai, who leads the Caltech Micromachining Laboratory and the Department of Medical Engineering. His research interests include wearable devices and bioMEMS with innovative medical applications. In 2014, he graduated from National Taiwan University with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2015, he received a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Caltech.
