Abstract:
In this webinar, we will discuss common academic and industrial job hunting processes and issues in North America (and potentially Taiwan) for Taiwanese who hold PhDs. The panelists will share their experiences and thoughts in choosing between academia or industry, positions abroad or in Taiwan, teaching- or research-focused tracks, as well as skills in general job application preparation, interview, and a 20-minute extra QA session.
